Vintage Flower Sampler Quilt Book from Podunk Pretties

Sometimes a quilter just needs a new book full of pretty pictures. I've been eyeing this quilt book since before it's release in 2023.

I had to have it for no other reason than it's so darn cute. The chances of me making anything from this book is slim but I do enjoy flipping through the pages.

There is one block I would like to make. Not just one but an entire quilt. It would be quite the undertaking for me as I don't like curved seams.

Vintage Flower Sampler Quilt ~ Block 2 from Life in the Scrapatch

Late last evening, I finished the second block for my

Vintage Flower Sampler Quilt

So now I have two blocks.

I am thinking to frame each block with a white tone of tone and sash with a red/pink print. I may make nine patches as the sashing posts.

These are busy blocks, in part because 30's reproduction fabrics are typically busy

and in part because sometimes

I like a colorful jumble of fabrics and prints.
